Karen acquired a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Counseling from Colorado Christian University. She has many years of experience in social work and the mental health field. She is committed to improving the well-being of people facing diverse challenges. Her experience includes working with those who have attachment issues and reactive attachment disorder, trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship issues, and life transitions.
Karen uses an informal, person-centered approach, while integrating a variety of evidence-based treatments. She creates an environment for those she serves to feel safe, seen, heard, and empowered as they move through the process of healing through finding meaning, and finding hope.
